Other northisland site

There are a few other north islad site inc. Topec, Colliers bride, and jeff joys. These are ok, but rareely used and need some work.

Rieds Farm

Reids farm is a great loops site just out of Taupo. Another great training site, right on the edge of a great city with a beautiful lake and so much fun stuff to do.
Its prety flat but great for training technique and doing off season training.

Wairoa River

This little baby flows on sunday's 26times per year. It plays host to the Wairoa extreme race, and numerous slalom races through out the summer. The course is fast in places, and great for training. It takes a few hours to set up the course in the morning, but once the wires are up its pretty fast to set up the course. The river floods a few times per season and when it rains it makes a wicked river run. the course is 300m long, and is on the back doorstep of all tauraga locals. A city which is on the coast and quite a cool place to hang out. Best time of the yr is between december and febuary when the water is warm and the weather is good. It makes for a great weekend change from the kaituna....
